Signalment: 5 year old, Male, Golden Retriever
Presenting Complaint: A 5 year old male golden retriever presented for a recheck for his heart disease. He was diagnosed 6 weeks previously with congestive heart failure. At this time he is free of clinical signs.
Presenting History

Physical exam revealed a systolic murmur in the area of the left apex typical of mitral valve insufficiency, and an S3 gallop.
