Signalment: 12 years old, Male Castrated, Domestic Shorthair
Presenting Complaint: A 12 year old male domestic short haired cat presented for coughing for four days duration and respiratory distress.
Presenting History
On physical exam, this cat had subcutaneous emphysema. On auscultation, there were increased inspiratory and expiratory sounds. Bronchoscopy revealed profuse mucoid secretions, but no evidence of tracheal laceration or injury.
